The gateway connects to your base station, repeater or a listening radio. It transcribes speech on site, keeps a local copy of every recording and syncs text and audio to your Vindrose archive. We ship it; your team connects it and signs in. No technician visit needed.

Which radios do you support?
Analog VHF and UHF from any manufacturer, DMR (Motorola, Hytera, Kenwood), TETRA through a dispatch gateway, and PoC systems. Using something else? Tell us in the form.
Is recording radio traffic legal?
Yes, as long as staff are informed. The onboarding pack includes an employee notice template and a data processing agreement. We recommend a quick check with your DPO.
How accurate is the transcription?
It depends on the audio quality and noise on site. In the demo you see and hear it on sample traffic, and you can ask us about testing a recording from your own radios. The audio always sits next to the text.
Can you take part in a public tender?
Yes. We prepare the technical specification, required declarations and an offer for the cloud or on-prem edition.
Do we need a technician to install it?
No. We ship the gateway to your site, your team connects it to the radio and the network, then signs in to Vindrose. If something does not work, our engineers help remotely.
What about our dispatch system?
It stays as it is. Vindrose listens to the air in parallel and never interferes with your radio network.
What if the internet goes down?
The gateway keeps recording and transcribing on site and stores everything locally. When the connection is back, it syncs to your archive and nothing is lost. Search, alarms and reports run in the cloud, so they catch up as soon as the gateway is online again.
How do we cancel?
Monthly plans cancel with one month’s notice. You can export all recordings and transcripts before you leave.
